Terrell Watson: Inspiration on and off the field

A name you need to remember: Terrell Watson. Azusa Pacific University football running back #33, Watson is set to graduate this year and is currently pursuing his NFL dreams while training in Anaheim, California at Stars Athletic Performing Training Center. On March 9th Watson’s hard work paid off during his Pro Day at APU. The results: 35 Vertical, 22 on bench, 10-3 on board, and 4.49-4.51 40-yards. What does this mean? Well, Watson is in the top 10% of these categories. There were 15 NFL teams in attendance. Beyond his outstanding God-given talent, Watson is an inspiration on and off the football field. During his off time he visits local schools to encourage kids to pursue their dreams. He openly praises God and uses his platform to bring glory to God in everything he accomplishes. Watson, featured on billboards across freeways in Los Angeles was the MVP at the Colligate Bowl in January. Keep a look out for his name being called at the 2015 NFL draft beginning April 30th!

Update! Watson’s story continues with the Cincinnati Bengals where he was drafted free agent into the NFL.
