Anyone love a nice and warm, comforting apple pie? As the weather starts to get chilly and even now I am writing this post it’s gloomy and raining outside all I want is one of these delicious apple pie bites. I must admit out of all the treats I’ve made so far these are my favorite. I found the recipe on Pinterest and they’re super easy to bake. These apple pie bites make eight in about 27 minutes.
Here’s what you need:
-
granny smith apple
-
apple pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice)
-
brown sugar
-
pecans
-
Pillsbury crescent rolls (original)
Here’s what to do:
- First, roll out your Pillsbury crescent rolls on a cookie sheet with wax paper
- Next, put brown sugar and apple pie spice on crescent rolls
- Melt 1/4 cup of butter in bowl, cup up apple and soak slices in butter
- Lay one apple slice on wide end of crescent roll
- Chop up pecans and sprinkle them on
- Roll up crescent and brush leftover melted butter on top of the roll and then sprinkle on top a little more of the apple pie spice
- Then bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 11 minutes or until golden-brown colored
Enjoy!
