Staycationing at JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort in Palm Desert, CA

Hello friends! I had a super fun girls staycation with my mom, her friend Karen and my nana who came in town to visit me for a few days! We had a blast shopping and laughing all along the way through the stores of El Paseo.

We all stayed at the JW Marriott Desert Springs resort in Palm Desert. The hotel has such spring vibes! The entire resort is bursting with color from the pink flamingos in the front to emerald green golf course views and vibrant blue waters sparkling from their lagoon and pools.

These Lilly Pulitzer dresses remind me of this resort. They are my favorite for spring! The colors from Lilly are always so vibrant! I love how structured the pink and white lace dress is. The lace detailing is so well-done and absolutely beautiful for a spring brunch with the girls! The turquoise dress with ruffles and pearls is so classy ~ a perfect Easter Sunday dress! Something I’m really into right now as we transition to spring are these flowy blue and pink pants! They are so much fun! Not only do I love this pattern, but they are also extremely comfortable. They feel like pajama pants! These pants come in two other patterns as well. I see them on someone who is spring breaking on the beach or lounging poolside. Palm Desert is the perfect location for these boho pants.

I hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful spring weather! Hopefully, we can get a little bit of vitamin D. I know the “coronavirus” COVID-19 is on everyone’s minds right now. I pray the world is able to get a handle on the situation really soon. My husband told me the other day, he said, “I wish everyone would trust Jesus the way we trust hand sanitizer right now.” Haha! It’s so true. I wish everyone would realize that Jesus is in control. He has the whole world in His hands. He knows how this whole pandemic will play out. We need to trust Him and seek Him through prayer during this difficult time. (Though of course, keep using that hand sanitizer ~ that’s helpful too!)
