It was so much fun designing the wedding invitations. Definitely, one of my favorite steps in the wedding planning process. And, it truly is a sweet memory stuffing the invitations with my mom. We sat in the kitchen, Michael Buble was playing in the background… We both looked at each other and said, “Let’s take in this moment.”
Our invitations are from Paper Joy
It’s a local place in Phoenix. It was such a ‘joy’ working with Lydia. She really helped us bring all of our Pinterest ideas to life.
As you can see, we went with a blush pink satin bow around the main invitation that matches with the blush pink envelope. We had a details card which guided our guests to our wedding website. We also had an RSVP postcard. This is a great way to cut back on cost if you don’t want to include a separate RSVP card and envelope, just go with a postcard! On the postcard, we gave our guests the option of choosing chicken or fish for their main course at the reception.
We also hand-picked the lace floral design on the details card. This design carries throughout the wedding reception and even on our ceremony program. It’s on our menu card and name cards as well.
Lydia also designed our “His and Hers” specialty drink posters.
These are so cute!! I love them!
