My Easter Dress

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter!

Jonathan and I spent our Easter this year in Phoenix with my family. We had such a great time. The best part was that my brother made a surprise visit home.

This Easter, I have never seen the desert look so beautiful. Arizona is in full bloom. Flowers are everywhere and Camelback Mountain has never looked so green!

With all the bright, colorful flowers in the desert I was inspired to wear a bright yellow dress this year for Easter. This is my favorite spring-time dress and it’s by

Rachel Parcell’s new Spring Collection.

I’m 5’6 and wearing an XS in this dress. It also comes in white.

Yellow is the ‘it’ color this spring season. You’re going to notice lots of bright yellow on your Instagram feeds if you follow many bloggers. Rachel Parcell likes to nickname this dress the ‘bright and beaming’ dress! Who wouldn’t want to be bright and beaming this time of the year?!

Another popular trend right now are big floppy hats. I thought about wearing a hat with this outfit. One tip I have on hats for spring is to never spend a lot of money on them. The best place to buy hats are Walmart and Target. My personal favorite is Walmart. They have so many designer dupes, it’s fabulous!

Here is a great hat for $10! I am also in love with this beautiful ivory hat here for $16. And, you’ve probably seen me in this hat here numerous times… btw, it’s $9 bucks!

“Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him.  For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

Romans 6:8-11
