This week’s Bible verse …

As I drove to work this morning at 4:45 a.m. I heard this verse spoken through the radio and it touched my heart.

Galatians 6:9 says, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Sometimes I say, “Lord I am soo tired.” To be honest with you, I feel bad for complaining because He has blessed me with so much. Even still, I sometimes feel exhausted.

Then I remember the verse which says, “… for the joy of the Lord is my strength.”

Whenever I feel weary, I draw closer to the Lord. He helps push me to keep going and doing good work even when I am exhausted. In this exhaustion I find joy. I feel happiness knowing the Lord is right there with me, working beside me and it gives me the strength I need. Sometimes you just need to hear Him more clearly and today I felt Him speak to me as I drove myself to work.

  1. Well if you did not know it yet let me tell you, you are my favorite morning reporter at KYMA in Yuma.

The first time we met at the Tim Hansel room you were so kind and told me some of what I said was exactly what you needed at that moment. Can I say thank you because what you just shared was exactly what I needed today after being on the road and working a trade show in Portland, OR. I love what you are doing.
