October is National Breast Cancer month. In this post, I’m wearing pink to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer. I’m sure we all know someone who has fought the battle of cancer. On Saturday, I interviewed the sweetest lady named Lisa wearing a pink tutu at a Breast Cancer 5K in Palm Desert. She’s three years cancer free! I want to send a prayer up for Lisa and all of those who are currently going or have gone through cancer. Know that our Heavenly Father is right beside you through the journey.
In the photo above, I’m wearing a super girly vibrant pink glittery cheetah-print dress from Lilly Pulitzer. You can find a link to this dress by downloading the free Like To Know It app and following me, Caitlin Thropay.
What I love about Lilly Pulitzer, in addition to their amazing colorful pieces is that they’re giving $30,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation which funds 600 hours of cancer research.
Lilly Pulitzer designed their own pink print specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness month. You can see the scarf I’m wearing below is in that special print. (Also linked on LTKit)

Anyone that purchases any item with this print is helping support their contribution towards breast cancer. If you’re local to the Coachella Valley, shop in the store on El Paseo from October 16-18 and they’ll give 10% of sales to Eisenhower Health’s Lucy Curci Cancer Center.
Plus, for the entire month of October, all healthcare workers can get a 10% discount to shop at Lilly Pulitzer!
According to The American Cancer Society, they estimate about 276,480 people will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States this year.
