My biggest regret on our wedding day was not eating more CAKE!

Maryam at Maryam’s Cakery is as sweet as her cakes. She put so much time into making this cake and I really wanted to give her a little shoutout because it turned out so beautiful and soo delicious.

When we first met Maryam in Scottsdale she was working for another cake company that our venue works with. We had a great time at our cake tasting; deciding on chocolate/peanut butter, vanilla/strawberry and pink champagne for our cake layers and then drawing up the design with Maryam by our side.

A couple months before the wedding we found out that the company she was working for went out of business. We were really worried because we loved our cake design and didn’t know if we had time to find another company that would be available on June 15 to make a 5 tier cake for 200 people.

Maryam was so sweet and kind to us. She told us not to worry and that she would still make our cake from her home. She told us about her own cake business on the side.

It really touched our hearts that she was willing to help us with our cake and also make our bride/groom pretzel rods as little gifts at the reception.

So again, Maryam, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We loved our cake so much and were especially blessed to work with you.

Now, we are looking forward to eating the top tier of our cake on our one year anniversary!
