It’s almost the weekend!! Well, for most of you it is! Congratulations! You made it through another week! My week starts tomorrow, as I anchor the weekend morning show in Palm Springs. But, for most of you, as you head into a nice relaxing weekend I wanted to share some close-up shots of my wedding hair.
I also wanted to shoutout the most AMAZING hairstylist who did my wedding hair …
ZOE WILDRIDGE!!!
You can find her on Instagram @zoewildridge
You seriously must check her out! She’s FABULOUS.
She does hair in Scottsdale, Arizona. I HIGHLY recommend her. She is so talented and the sweetest person ever! She really takes her time and works super hard to make sure you are in-love with your hair at the end of the day. I love how meticulous she is and she even brought a speaker with her so we jammed-out while she did my hair. She is so much fun! Plus, she really helped me relax and stay calm while getting ready for the big day.
I really wanted a simple hair style for my wedding. I had been growing out my hair for a while so I definitely wanted to wear it down. I knew I would have to cut it shorter once I started my new job so I wanted to get it as long as I could before then. I hope to one day look back and say, “Wow, my hair was so long!” The hardest part was getting the curl to stay. Zoe helped me curl my hair and did a little half-hair-up-half-hair-down action. A summer wedding in AZ will always be brutal on any hair style but Zoe made it last all night. She also gave me a baby cut about a week before the wedding when we did our trial hair to keep it looking healthy and fresh.
I bought the hair pins from the place I bought my wedding dress from … Mariee Bridal. (also in Scottsdale)
As for earrings, it took me a while to find some I really liked. I ended up finding these sparkly dangly ones online from Lauren Hope and I LOOOVE them!!
