Fourth of July is almost here! Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always loved celebrating Independence Day. Growing up, we spent the Fourth of July in Flagstaff, Arizona. My Nana and Papa had a whole day of games and activities planned for us at their cabin in the woods. We played games all day and won prizes that they bought from the dollar store. My favorite game to play was junk food bingo. I remember eating watermelon and corn on the cob until my stomach was so full it looked like I swallowed a whole watermelon. Together my family and friends snuggled together on a hay ride into the forest where we looked for elk and barbecued until the firework show. These are patriotic memories I will always hold close to my heart.

As for any holiday it’s fun dressing up and being festive. Here are my star spangled inspired red, white and blue looks. Hopefully these inspire you this Fourth of July.

This year I am so excited to spend my Fourth of July in California! I get to visit my boyfriend and his family who live in SoCal. I haven’t seen him in over a month so I couldn’t be more happy to spend time with him.
